O.R.G.A.N.I.K.

I have been living here in Bandar Puteri for almost 6 months. Yet, I only find this shop last Sunday. Most probably, I drive all the time and I don't have the time to look around on a busy street. But that day, my friend was driving so I can read the signage clearly. And since I am almost run out of groceries, I decided to go and have a visit :P
And I just did. Guess what? I never shop 4 different kinds of vegetables at one time. And I never spend almost RM100 at a kedai runcit. But I just did. Haha. Gile rambang mate. Suddenly I am obsess with organic food. The shopkeeper pulak super friendly. Apparently she knows 1 of my colleagues.
SO, I sign up as a member since I know I will be shopping my groceries there after this. And I got this book. Looks interesting. I only read few pages and I am excited! Haha. There are also some recipes I can try wee~!
Ok. Here are

Cara Mudah dan Ekonomi ke Arah Diet Organik yang Sihat(taken from the book):
  • Mengurangkan pengambilan daging, susu tenusu dan produk tenusu kerana makanan ini adalah protein haiwan di mana ia cenderung mengumpul lebih bahan kimia dan toksin, sehingga meningkatkan keasidan dan ketoksikan dalam badan kita
  • Menggantikan protein/lemak sumber haiwan (daging dan telur) dengan kekeras (badam, walnut, kacang pine, Brazil nut dll), biji benih (biji benih bunga matahari, biji benih labu, bijan dll) dan kekacang (Adzuki, kacang hitam, kacang hijau, black eye peas dll).
  • Mengelakkan 5 makanan yang berwarna putih kerana semua makanan ini telah disaring dan mengandungi zat makanan yang tidak seimbang lalu meningkatkan keasidan badan
  • nasi putih
  • roti putih
  • tepung putih
  • garam putih
  • gula putih
  • Mengelakkan minyak yang telah disaring dan makanan yang digoreng kerana makanan tersebut digoreng berulang kali dan tidak memanfaatkan badan
  • Menggantikan susu tenusu dengan susu sumber tumbuhan (susu oat atau susu soya). Kombinasi susu oat (gandum) dan susu soya (soya) akan memberikan zat makanan yang seimbang da asid amino yang lengkap
