ISLAM is the Way of Life
Assalamualaikum
I just posted this video on my Facebook. I love how he sees things. Interesting.
M came home yesterday, mentioning about the same matter.
He insisted that our kids (if we have any) would go to an islamic school, no matter what. While he was on the way back, saw a group of kids in our neighbourhood, acting very inappropriately. They were only kids!
We believe that Islam is the way of life, that includes EVERYTHING! Because now, people separates that with the dunya. We don't prioritize Islam in whatever we do. Yes including me. Unlike how the era when our Prophet lived.

Inilah ringkasan apa yang diterangkan dalam satu ceramah dalam program halaqah tv al-hijrah bulan lepas.
Penyakit umat islam zaman sekarang yang menyebabkan Islam menjadi lemah adalah kerana mereka
"mengasingkan agama Islam dari kehidupan harian dunia mereka"..
Secara ringkasnya, boleh dikatakan, kebanyakan umat Islam zaman sekarang tidak "menyulam agama" dalam aktiviti kehidupan seharian sepertimana yang dilakukan oleh umat-umat terdahulu ketika zaman kegemilangan islam.
Ketika kerja, ketika berniaga, ketika keluar rumah, ketika bermain, ketika bersukan, ketika bersama rakan-rakan....habis semua rukun islam dan rukun iman dilanggar/dilupakan:
1) Beriman kepada Allah
tak ingat pun Allah sentiasa melihat dan mendengar
tak ingat pun Allah menentukan segalanya
tak ingat pun Allah maha mengetahui segalanya
tak ingat pun semua yang terjadi adalah dengan izin Allah
2) Beriman kepada Rasul
tak ingat pun pesan-pesan nabi
tak ingat pun pandua-panduan yang nabi bagi
tak ikut pun sunah-sunah nabi
3) Beriman kepada Malaikat
tak ingat pun ada malaikat kat kiri kanan catit amalan kita
4) Beriman kepada Kitab
tak ingat pun ISO 9001 & ISO 16949 untuk hidup kita dalam Al-quran
tak ingat pun ada panduan hidup dalam Al-quran
tak ingat pun ada batas-batas dalam kehidupan dalam Al-quran
tak ingat pun ada peraturan-peraturan hidup dalam Al-Quran
tak ingat pun ada penerangan atas tiap-tiap sesuatu dalam Al-Quran
5) Beriman kepada Hari Kiamat
tak ingat pun ada hari pembalasan pada setiap tingkah laku kita
tak kisah pun buat dosa-dosa kecil
6) Beriman kepada Qada dan Qadar
tak ingat pun setiap sesuatu yang berlaku dah tertulis
tak ingat pun perancangan Allah adalah yang terbaik
tak ingat pun Allah takkan bebankan hambanya melebihi kemampuan
Kalau nak tulis detail semua, memang tak tertulis.
Tambahan jugak...dah la lupakan rukun iman,
letakkan agama no. #2 dalam setiap urusan.. astaghfirullah halazim..
Walaumacam mana pun ini adalah peringatan untuk diri saya sendiri yang sering lupa juga serta rakan-rakan.

Kisah Roti
Assalamualaikum
I spent my last weekend MAKING ROTI!!! I enrolled myself in a 2-days-course -Theory n Practical of Bread Making. There were only 2 of us-a guy and me attended.
Sangat banyak knowledge yg dapat alhamdulillah. We made Focacia, baguette and white bread with 3 different types of fermentation-Pate Fermentee, Poolish and Biga.
Someone pointed out to me it's a waste to keep all the knowledge by myself, so here I am writing a blog about making bread!
Haha. Im no pro. Only sharing what I learn haritu.
The basic ingredients of making bread are these 4:
1) Tepung
2) Yeast
3) Water
4) Salt
Fermentation is the core thing of making bread. Yeast is responsible in menjayakan this process.
Notice there are no sugar used as the ingredients? Sebab:
1) it's not healthy
2) we want the yeast to keluarkan the sucrose in the tepung. Interesting ey? I never knew dalam tepung ada gula.
So if you only use these 4 ingredients bile buat roti, but your end result taste good (ada rasa manis,ada rasa masin sikit, bkn masam, bukan rase tepung), you can pat your shoulder and berbangga u succeeded in making roti. (which I did alhamdulillah :D )
If your bread turns out white-ish, maknenye too much kneading/mixing. Oxidation sudah berlaku. It should turn out brown and tasty :)

Ok. tu je lah. As for how to make roti, I don't have video to show you. If you're interested, go and enroll yourself in any bread courses. Saya pergi Masterbaker Academy @ Bandar Baru Bangi. The chef is experienced. Fee pon affordable. Recommended!

Unfortunate Events
Assalamualaikum
Hari ini ialah hari-bende-tumpah-kat-baju day.
Bought a bottle of black olive. I've bakar-ed the lid already but still susah nak open. So asked M to open for me. Forgetting that the bottle is filled with liquid (tak tau ape probably vinegar), M dengan sepenuh jiwa dan raga membukak botol itu lalu Splash splash! Habis baju bau masam. Luckily he hasn't change to his work shirt yet, if not penat je I iron this morning (cheh smpt lagi puji diri).
Then I want to open a can of susu cair. I am really bad using the old fashioned can opener. But that is the only kind I have ever used in my life. Either I will asked somebody else to open the can or I spend almost an hour to open 1 small can. Ok lah tipu.
30min. Serius ni tak tipu!
Ok ok..latest can opener will be on top of my to-buy list.
Sambung cerita unfortunate event...So after I struggled...terlepas the can. wooshh milk kena my baju :(
aa well...Shit happens.
On the positive side, I managed to make pizza cup! M loves it alhamdulillah. Ala tapi honestly, I just put whatever I can find in the refrigerator. Bak kata orang tua..main campak-campak je. LOL. I buat bekal for him since ade banyak pizza extra tapi he lupa bawak the tupperware. Hmph!

Event: Sis's Bday Celebration

Dah 15 hari kita menerjah ke tahun yang baru. Ecewahh.
Mcm mane dengan progress azam baru ?
As for me...I don't have a proper written azam baru.
Bukan tak bersemangat, but I take my-day-to-day activities / encounters to trying to improve myself.
Mane yang tercapai tu ALHAMDULILLAH..
I received many presents for my wedding. Some of them were baking stuff. I started to develop the love of baking not long ago. I am planning to pursue more, learning the basics n go deep into baking. Cheh mcm big deal pulak.
SO, since I got a table mixer, measuring cups, muffin trays and an oven, I bake CUPCAKES!
Lately me n some close friends obses dengan our senior's cupcakes..i thot of giving some to my sister for her birthday. But they close pulak dat time. Makanya terbuatlah kek tahape2 ku LOL. I bought the piping for frosting. Tu yg plg excited nk try sebenarnye hhaha.

Actually her birthday was on the 24th Dec. Our reception at Bangi was on the 25th Dec. M was sweet enough to suggest celebrating it with her. DJ siap play the birthday song uols!

As of point #4, I am still learning. I am really bad synchronizing my feet and hands. Will get there insyaAllah. Hehe. Yes I am a slow learner. But I hope I don't give up easy.

Escape Room @ eCurve
Assalamualaikum
I am writing another post since Farah selalu suruh I update blog :| Memandangkan ade mood, jadi marilah bace post seterusnye :D
Have you main game dekat phone tajuk room escape ke, jail break ke, atau yg sewaktu dgnnye?
I have. And I hated it. Because most of the times they x masok akal. And often annoying.
Tapi haritu Farah ajak to go the real escape game called Escape Room. They have 6 rooms altogether. There are only 2 outlets in Malaysia, eCurve and Klang.
Farah is pregnant, so they gave us 2 rooms to choose from out of 6. I guess the other 4 has physical challenge kot so not safe for the preger mommies. The available rooms are mummy and prison. Since mummy room's difficulty level is lower compared to prison room, we chose the mummy room. Firstimer maa. Cuak jugak nak challenge gempak2. Nak test market, amik la yang senang-senang dulu :D
Max ppl to go in a room is 10ppl. Time given to escape is within 45 minutes.
Farah, Cyan, Hudam and me went in. It was on a weekday so not many friends can join since they x cuti. (If you go on weekdays, price is cheaper you know). The perasaan at that time, I was more excited than nervous. Excited sebab 1stime. Nervous tu sikit je lah sebab if you can't escape, they are not gonna lock u up forever. Just that you have to pose with a loser banner. I don't feel that duit bazir because I enjoyed the excitement dalam room tu. At least dapat jugakla nak gune brain yang da berabuk ni.
Sorry no spoilers. Go and challenge yourself la. Baru best. Heh.

Assalamualaikum...
Sume masih beraye ke? Well, I am. Not literally, tp masih di kampung halaman, bersama keluarga terchenta :) Bukan beraye sakan, tapi cuba untuk enjoy raya terakhir as a single lady chewahh.
Ok. This is not a raya entry. But a special one for my sweet sweet M. Sape terase nak muntah, do stop reading at this point :P

4 months to go! And I'm about 30% prepared??
Dates has been confirmed insyaAllah.
Solemnization will be at home. Confirmed with a wedding planner. Will go for measurement some time this week. Favors has been finalized.
For the reception, met with another wed planner. Did measurement for my baju yesterday. Favors is almost finalized. But still counting on the guest lists :| Bought kain for the families (there are still some left to be distributed).

Good day :)
Yesterday, I planned to fast, to prepare for the coming Ramadhan, not aware that today is Isra' Mikraj.
I saw a friend's fb status update, Puasa pada 27 Rejab seperti berpuasa enam puluh bulan pahalanya'. Tipulah if I say I don't want the ganjaran. I can only pray and hope that my fast today diterima Allah. Amin.

GE13 just ended. An eventful one I can say. 'Post mortem' still on going. Tapi Im not going to talk about GE. I'll yawn myself definitely. Anyhow, I thank Allah for dad's winning. Do pray for his good health :) And let's pray to be a better muslim and better world rather than talk about politics :|
Now are you familiar with pinterest? I just started to like it. It's like a virtual board, and very easy to be familiarized with. Having to plan my wedding, I enjoy pinterest more and more :D Just pin as you like. Kalau x suke, delete aja. As for my wedding preparations (read concepts), I have everything in mind already. Now I am visualizing it thru Pinterest. Easier for everyone to understand my concept. Afterall, pictures speak louder than words ey? Tayah cakap, tunjuk je la pinterest to ppl. Senang cerita! :D I am going to contact a wedding planner. If the price permits, we'll hire them. Kalau tak....either cari other planners or buat sendiri ar (which I doubt sebab mcm x rajin :| )
For our wedding preparations, we have decided to divide the tasks. He will handle the serious stuff (tok kadi, blood test n what not); which, kalau x buat, x leh ar nk kawin. I will handle stuff yg kalau x buat pon boleh je kahwin tapi gedik nk buat gak. geddit? hahaha. What do you know. Pejam celik pejam celik tinggal 6 bulan lagi yaw!!! So we have to start do things sikit-sikit. InsyaAllah everything will come thru. Bak kata pepatah, sikit-sikit lama-lama jadi bukit :D I pray that everything will go smoothly. Kalau x as planned pon, as what Allah's plan; that is the best plan ever :) Amin...
I want to buy new phone. My phone slowly dah kaput. Yesterday, camera dah rosak. Almost everyweek kene restart sebab hang je all the time. I bought this phone 2009 ok. Lame dah berkhidmat :D Waiting for celcom to keluarkan the color I want. Buy with package better. Kan? But I dunno whether celcom nak kuarkan dat color ke x. Mari bersabar dan berharap (until my current phone da betol2 gone).
Akhir kate, it's friday!!! Let's be thankful and do more good people. Even a smile can brighten someone's day. :) :) :)

Went to watch The Impatient Sisters last nite. They were gooooooood! Awesome! And amazingly petite!! Hoho.
Honestly they sound super sedap. Go n listen to them. Serius x menyesal!
There were 2 other performers, Brian n Azmyl. We only get to see Azmyl Yunor. He was awesome too. Performed together with The Sigarettes. Bought his cd :P I like when they performed Anak Dara.
p/s: Oh! We played a guessing game. And I won!!! I hope I get the hadiah :D Hoping x hoping sgt lah. Tapi If I REALLY get it, it would be awesome :D
