F.R.I.E.N.D.S

I once watched a tv programme, the theme is best friend. On the last segment, the host asked the guests 'what is friend to you?' So at that moment, I started to think what would be my answer. Haha.
And I've finally found 1.
To me, friends are like AMUSEMENT PARK! Yes! I have so many close friends with different2 characters. Each give me different feeling, vibe and excitement. But assembling them altogether will give me joy, laughter and happy feeling.
This is not a sappy entry. I just feel like writing and this thought about friends happen to be on my mind right now.

Alhamdulillah I am much much better now.

I was suffering from Herpes Zoster, a viral skin disease that attacks on nerves. (Sumpah sakit gile! )
But now,
I can perform my prayer properly (standing) :D
I cooked lunch (eventho it was only a simple dish).
Driving is still a hassle. Drove from Bandar Puteri to USJ, wasn't pleasant at all. I hope I will be better on Saturday. I need to drive back to Melaka :| Parents' anniversary is near.
I really hope Bersih won't make bad traffic (haha as if!) Need to go to SHor before going back hometown.
Self healing was not too bad. All I need was much needed rest and hi dose of Lingzhi :|
I wished I haf a slave to do things for me while bedridden(sort of) :|
A company or two won't be that bad.
But you can't have it all right? :P
Nevertheless, I am happy :D
Oohh I miss seeing people.

Went to see a doctor just now. She diagnosed it in no time, giving bad vibe tho. I am sure she meant well.
Nevertheless, Alhamdulillah, I've had many others who gave positive vibes.
Let's pray that I'll heal fast InsyaAllah, Ameen.
As of now, it's mind over pain. My mantra thru this period.

Next story is about my cat, Zest. Die sangat lah baik hati. Of all the cats kitorg penah bela, die ni lah yang plg considerate n x pedulikan orang langsung ( eh! tu da 2different maksud already :| ). He don't mind other cats to share his food. He's like Garfield tapi x annoying langsong. Eh, annoying jugak sebenarnye (to me ar esp). Sebab die suke mengendeng2 kat orang. Then suke tido terbongkang atas simen kat garaj tu. Bile orang hon2 nk parking kete kat situ pon die bo layan. Grr~! Ok, die mmg annoyingla hahaha.
What I like about him, he dun scare me. (Yes, other cats scare me like hell.)
And because of that, I can jage him. I feed him with Soya Protein Powder. I put Greenzhi on his luka after fights or if he ade any infections. I think if Zest mati, I would b devastated kot. N cry maybe. Sedih la. I love him!

Baru-baru ni, ade new kucing datang. She was pregnant.Now dah deliver tapi I've yet to see the kittens. Tatau mane die sorok. Dah 1 wk dah die deliver. Dalam bnyk2 jenis kucing, anak kucing lah yg paaaling saye takot sebab derang suke lompat2 playful. eii scary lah!!Haish, mintak2 lah derang x stay kat rumah ni. Takot woo!!

I have to admit, I am getting crazee over Korean celebrities now. I have several variety shows which I watched regiously :|
Nway, I was bored. Switched on the channel. Immortal Song 2 was on tv. Singers compete on stage to get the biggest vote from the audience. This episode, they were doing tribute of their legendary singer (the man in brown jacket). Then this guy came on stage. I was amazed with his stage performance!! Gempak wey!!



The early part was so-so. 03:49 was unexpected! 04:08 was like WHAT??!! 06:11 was Ohsem!
This is no K-Pop. It's pop yeh yeh  soul ppl!! Woots!

My Dream House

The kind of house I want to live changes from time to time. I decided to write entries on my dream house and later will compare with the house I will own :| Hm..

1) I realllly want a green housing area. Those with trees, recycle bins and safe neighbourhood. Yes, I love nature.
2) I want a big kitchen, with an island and big oven for me to bake.
3) I want a little bit of soil at the backyard so that I can have my own mini vegetable farm.
4) I prefer single storey (I hate cleaning big and many places :| )

There you go. Not fancy at all. Hehe.
I am not house hunting right now. We'll see how my soon to be house(s) matches my dream house :D

Jonker Bird House

I was browsing through some groupon deals and 1 caught my attention. Mind you, I am not a bird lover or anything ( but now I am starting to love raptors after attended the raptorwatch event last week ) .
There is a new attraction of Melaka! The Jonker Bird House. I would love to go and visit. But before that, I would buy a really good camera or borrow someone's. The place is really nice! Check these pictures out.

Last weekend I volunteered to be the nature guide for the Raptorwatch Event in Tg Tuan. Good experience and interesting knowledge gained. 

The best part was to see those raptors flew off from Sumatera heading towards us and the patterns they make following the thermal wave. 

The not really fun part was to face the heat, in the face! I am a red lobster now :( Applying as much cream as I can to soothe the skin. But hey! I love my weekend nevertheless.

Do you know washing car all by urself is a great workout? 

Well, I don't know for sure. I am just stating the fact because every time I wash my car, I feel like all my muscles are pumping like car engines :|

I have been halting my exercise routine for quite sometimes. I have a training this Saturday which could be physical. I need to get in shape. Since it rains all day this week, I decided to wash my car. Haha.

When my brother's study loan was approved, I told him to explore the nature more. Simply because I love nature and New Zealand has been the most breathtaking-view place I've ever been to. I even told him if you see a good single man who loves nature as much as I do, do introduce him to your sister aka yours truly.

Like every new years, ppl tend to have new resolution/s or remake old resolutions to better ones.

Too cliche. 

And in my mind, I tend to not be like everybody else. (Well, most of them at least). I try to not having new resolutions..at all. 

After more than a minute of thinking, I started to question myself,  WHO would live without resolution? 

Try google the word resolution. Go and look for the meaning in the dictionary. None explain the word negatively. 

So. who would want to live negatively? Only those with disturb minds would, I presume. 

I end up having resolutions afterall. Because I know I don't want to live without purpose. Even my religion don't encourage that. 

No matter how big or small, have resolution and go make it happen. That way, you would have a purpose to live in this life and the lifeafter insyaAllah  :) 

p/s: Ppl say, if you say the resolution out loud, in front of many people, the resolution will likely be successful. :D 

Don't Judge A Book By It's Cover

Im just titling this post as so because....well, most of my post don't really relate to the title. Heh
Actually this one does. Haha.Ok mental x stabil :||
Back then, I chose books by how attractive the cover was. Yes. I saw. I bought.
Now, still not much difference :|
1) Saw attractive book cover
2) Read synopsis
3) Read introduction
4) Then decide to buy :)

I watched this Korean show. They were promoting places in Korea. There was this street called Bosu Dong Book Street. The shops at the street sell books. Lots of them. Old and new. At a very cheap price! Coolnesss! This street existed since 1950s! Apparently, Koreans love to read. Book heaven I tell ya!

Eversince I watched u've Got Mail, Ive always dream to have a mega bookstore(like Borders) of my own. I planned this with my high school friends, Cthans n Zue. It was wayyy back then, this plan. I am still holding to this dream, I am not sure about the 2 friends tho. InsyaAllah, I would want this to happen. Perhaps having a small quite little bookstore first, something like the one Vanessa and Dan go in Season 4 if Im not mistaken. (Gosh it has been ages ive marathoning tv series!!! )

A girl can only dream right? Nope, I believe I can make this happen with the help from Allah, big actions from my side and financial support from the family (ok kidding hehe). Pray for this to happen :)

They played really really good, better than the Harimau Malaya.

tapi....melampau sgt la perhatian yg diberikan kat derang. siap dapat RM30k each! I mean, they only contributed 1 gold.. and that's it! Other teams lagi bnyk sumbang, tapi liputan utk derg mcm takde :| ke ade, tapi media x gembar gemburkan?? ape2 pon, tahniah kepade kontinjen malaysia atas pencapaian kamu semua ( as if derg nk bace :| )

oh! pengalaman tgk match haritu...i watched with my maid. indon mari.only the 2 of us. the feeling...gile x best!!esp mase indon score 5th min. im sure she was excited, tp taleh nk jerit jugak haha. mase kite dapat rampas bola i also cannot excite terlebih. thank god 2nd half she x tgk n my siblings came to join me (b4 tu they watch tv downstairs pfft).

my dad's plak, he and a friend was at an indonesian restaurant when the match started. dis is 1 of his fav restaurant, minang cuisine. tp timing nk mkn tu x betol. they were the only mesian inside the restaurant. mmg depressing. xleh nk sorak beriye2. habes 1st half, they quickly cau haha.

so moral of the story, if u want to watch any match, make sure to be with the same supporters. :P

OUR CAKE!!!Dun u love it?? At first we felt kinda sayang to eat, but licin jugk in the end haHhA 
yesterday was our 10th year reunion. it went beautifully.i was humming lagenda since i woke up earlier today. yes,the song brings back so much fond memories. honestly, the only thing that makes me love school is because of the girls. i love em so much. i feel so comfortable being around them. i mean...how can u eat at a posh hotel n yet talking to the people at the next table?tak payah nak control macho langsong.yeah,TKC 9701 rulez!Love the company,love the food (eventho xpuas mkn sgt),Love the engraved ring (yes,i own a ring now! badminton goofers

We were goofing ourselves while playing badminton yesterday. We tried alternating both hands. Funny when the hand rarely used, was used :D I used my body force (ceh..ala2 starwars gitu!) instead of swaying the hand.
good laughs. funny times :D
I am always a lefty you see. and he is too. but only yesterday he realized that he played with the right hand all this while. haha. so when we tried alternating, both of his hands could swing. sooo jealous!

now my right hand is in pain :(

Bajet 2012

saye sokong pasal pemansuhan yuran utk budak sekolah. i believe in the importance of children's education. so yeah sokong 100%. 

tapi saye against umur bersara extend sampai 60 tahun. honestly, I prefer both of my parents to stop working now. They're 60 n 55. I don't think they have to. They ought to relax at home . 

Tun commented it's a good idea since people's lifespan now is longer. 

X kesah la lifespan longer ke shorter ke. The body is deteriorating over time. lumrah alam. All normal people go through this phase. So y damage your body more? 

Sigh:( 

Gov should consider subsidizing kos hidup. Ha!! That way, takdelah old people pon kene kerja nk cari duit sebab nk hidop!

B Good To Parents!

I have just started to seriously read the tafsir. I am only at chapter 17 :p So far, my fav chapter is chapter 12, surah Yusuf. I admit I am new. And I am reading on my own. InsyaAllah, I will seek for proper lesson on the tafsir soon. So the reason I like surah Yusof is because it is really simple, and only mention the stories of Yusof. All the verses has proper storyline, which I as a beginner can really understand. After finished reading the whole surah, I even think that his story can be make a TV drama :| Very much related to people's behaviour. Do you know many Jews converted to Islam after hearing this chapter? MasyaAllah.

Yesterday, I came across this few verses which give me immediate impact. Ala2 kene batang hidung sendiri.

 It is from the chapter 17, verse 23-30: Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him, and do good to parents. If any one of them or both of them reach old age, do not say to them: uff (a word or expression of anger or contempt) and do not scold them, and address them with respectful words, (23) And submit yourself before them in humility out of compassion, and say, “My Lord, be merciful to them as they have brought me up in my childhood.” (24) Your Lord knows best what is in your hearts. If you are righteous, then He is Most-Forgiving for those who turn to Him in repentance. (25) Give the relative his right, and the needy and the wayfarer. And do not squander recklessly. (26) Surely, squanderers are brothers of satans, and the Satan is very ungrateful to his Lord. (27) And if you turn away from them looking for a bounty from your Lord you are expecting, then speak to them in polite words¹. (28) And do not keep your hand tied to your neck, nor extend it to the full extent, lest you should be sitting reproached, empty-handed ². (29) Indeed, your Lord expands sustenance for whomsoever He wills, and constricts (for whomsoever He wills). Surely, He is All-Aware of His servants, All-Seeing. (30)
¹ This means, if you have nothing to give in charity, as required by verse 26 above, and you are expecting Allah will give you enough resources in future to spend in charity, you should apologize to the needy person in polite words, and should not reject their request in a rude manner.
 ² 'Keeping hands tied to the neck' is an expression that stands for miserliness. The verse means, that one should not be miserly nor extravagant. In the latter case, one may sit empty handed, reproaching oneself for overspending his wealth.

It doesn't completely hit me, but I do feel the tempias-ness. I like the way the Quran mentioned how we should respect our parents and belittle ourselves and pray that Allah have mercy on them as how they took care of us when we were little. Very nicely said. If you are incapable to give help n care, tell them nicely that you can't. And if you have good intention, insyaAllah He will always give you ways if He intends to.So these verses explained how we should act as humans. There are more on the next verses eg avoid zina, do good to orphans etc. Go and read it if you're interested to know more :)

Raye Oh Yeah

This year, like the previous years, dad goes to Mecca for his umrah. This time around, he brings Izwan along (together with his 3 friends). They're gonna celebrate raya there and only be back on the 2nd of raya. May they be safe there Amin..

Another few days to celebrate raya. Honestly, I am excited and sad at the same time. Sad for leaving Ramadhan as I have not been using the blessed month fully and happy because it's RAYA!!! We may go for some last minute shopping after this. Going back to Pilah tomorrow. Hee.

Oh! I sell kuih raya this year!!! Haha. Not much, restricted to only friends hahha. I may keep the reasons to myself :P Not sure whether I want to do it again next year. It was fun....and painful too haha. To those who have bought em, I hope you like em. Sorry for the misshaped, and some were a bit burnt :s

Scientists and researchers are doing studies on these people on how we can take the best of their behaviors to live longer as well. I have often heard of pick n plucking your meal for the day rather than from the can, exercising more; use the steps etc, be in a stress-free environment, you know the usual healthy stuff. But this is the first time I heard of having a purpose in life can help boost your longevity.

These people, they are a small community. What is important to them is to live and provide living for their family. They plant / breed their food. So all they do is plant, grow, harvest, feed their poultries, come back home with the rezeki for that day, cook and eat together with the whole family. The interesting part is, at night before they go to sleep, the whole family will gather and the head of the house will tell/remind/instruct them what they should do tomorrow, so that they will have a reason to wake up the next morning.

1) I know being a goal oriented person brings out the positive attitude in your character

2) I didn't realize a community with no specific education have this kind of positive attitude

3) I don't know having a purpose in life can lead to longevity. But now when I start to ponder to this words, it's logical!

I am amaze with this finding.

I do have the long term goal. And I have my short term goal as well (which I have put in my blog quite some time ago). A friend buzz me and ask whether I wanna go do 1 of the goal in my list. Oh and I am so glad she asked coz I will keep on procrastinating until God knows when. InsyaAllah some things on the list will be scratch soon woohoo!

I remembered a friend suggesting to kill 2 birds with a stone. Well, tempting as it can be imagined, I will try to keep that picture in my mind and do the necessary. Hoo cuak2. Ngee~

i cut my hair!!!! haha. I told the barber(??!) to make it layered with bangs. Ha tibe2 nk try style begitu. Tp as always this chinese barber never listen one. hentam la je.

then blk rumah, shampooed. now the hair dah dry it look sooo different haha. ala2 60s pon ade. ok maybe 70s.WHATEVER. tibe2 mcm suke plak rambut ni. kelakarrrr. n the best part is, the more messy it is, the more better it looks. suke2. tayah nk susah2 sikat rambut after this :D (aa mcm la slalu sikat pon). hee. the bestest part bile try new hairstyle is, since im wearing tudung i dun haf to mind wat people tink of the haircut. buruk pon x kesah je. hoyeahhhh...

ok move on to a more serious tone...MOM's getting serious. haiyok! giving speeches (er..more like a ugutan) to me. I want but cuak. Urgh~
