I have always like this place. No I haven't been here. Saw a movie and some documentaries and lotsa pictures make me wanna go here badly. I will make sure I reach here someday InsyaAllah.

Mari Lepak

I am officially announcing that I have found my most expensive favourite place to hang out, which is the KLIA. I have realized it long time ago but only now deciding to make it black n white (yes my laptop is black in color and the screen is white :| ). Why?

1) I know I have not been to many airports so I am going to make comparisons with those I have visited. And yes, KLIA is one of the coolest. It's new and modern and everything that is hip :P

2) I love to watch people. Where else can you find variety of faces at a time? AIRPORT definitely!!!

3) It's spacious! Even when it is crowded haha.

4) I love planes. Since I can't be at the hangar without proper permission, KLIA is good enough :|

5) The feeling I have when going to KLIA the first time was a happy feeling ..as far as I could remember. So everytime I go there, I always feels good and happyy :)

But please, do stuff yourself with food before going to KLIA as the food is totally not worth it to buy :| That is the only downside of KLIA. oh! if possible ask someone to drop you off or go get on a bus to get to KLIA. Would save a lot of money on parking :)

Nevertheless, I still love KLIA :x

Cranky Weather

The other day I was driving with A. It rained non stop since morning. I complained on the gloomy day. Then A said we should be thankful. You know how Arabs are known to be not friendly people. But when it rains, they greeted each other happily. Likewise, in Europe they are cheerful and bubbly especially when the sun comes out. So yeah, I tried to be Arabs the other day. Happy with the rain. Earlier today, the sun is finally visible after 2non stop rainy days. In fact, it was very terik, it hurts my eyes. Nevertheless, I tried my best to be Europeans.

Hoh. My point is, we should be thankful with what we have here in Malaysia. Even the rusuhan here is manageable. I pity those in Cairo. Terrible incident! Pray hard for those innocents, hope they are safe.Oh, and for the mangsa banjir. Hope they are ok n be very patient with all the dugaan. Amin...

An interesting thought came up while i was talking to A. I was in the exact topic of conversation some time ago and since I came across this topic again this time, I would like to remind myself hence the entry. I read my blog when I am bored you see :|

It is about how our work affecting us. Among the questions came up were ; happiness? satisfaction? honesty?

No, we didn't talk about happiness with how much money we were making. Instead, how many deeds we've collected so far. Were we happy with the job we do/did. No, it wasn't about satisfying the boss with the job done but more importantly our own satisfaction or to a logical extend, to the God's satisfaction? No, not the honesty towards clients/company but towards ourselves. Or are we just being pretentious all the time?

Let's make doa that we are making the right decisions in life.

All this heavy thoughts makes me hungry. Craving for TGIF's mac n cheese ball!!!

CLAYTAN

Since I changed my job, I noticed that i have been watching my diet and lifestyle. No I am not fat, i just need to watch my food intake and exercise more regularly. Since I have decided to be healthy in everything (it's my 2011's resolution), I am thoroughly following some routines. So far alhamdulillah, I am still on track.

Among the things I need to follow is food making. I am not the person who likes to cook or prepare food for myself. Especially when I am not living with my mom who usually prepares food for the whole family. So I have been experimenting recipes from time to time. Most of the times, they don't turn out good :( InsyaAllah, with a bit more practice, I'll be the next masterchef hahha. Oh! I watched the Junior Masterchef and I was in total awe. MasyaAllah the kids really know their way in the kitchen. RESPECT!

I like this tv programme called Vitamin. It's Korean. I watched it @ KBS world. It's an informative programme which is not too serious :| Heh. Else I'll get bored too soon.

I have been procrastinating for few weeks now. Big bad habit of mine which I am fighting to get over with. Earlier today I woke up earlier than usual and checked out half of my pending tasks. It felt goooood. So easy peasy tasks but took toooooo long to finish. Haish.. I remembered a talk I attended few weeks ago where the speaker mentioned that most people can't get off the M attitude. MALAS n MANJA. Yes I admit I am in the most people crowd. Need to spank my ass a little harder la this time. YOSH!!!!

What The Hell

I watched a movie just now ; Watching the Detectives. Huh, I just realized the title doesn't suit the storyline :|

Anyhu..Lucy Liu was the lead actress. I knew her from Charlie's Angel, resembling the asian, martial art-sy, cold yet sexy kinda girl. But in the Watching the Detectives, she is nothing like 'Alex'. She's like the girl next door fun kinda girl, which i like. Actually, the info Astro provided describing her was a femme fatale :| I rarely use that word so dun rili know what it means (before I googled of coz) :|

Oh and she has this tv aquarium thingy. Cute ar. So Hani/Nathan, saye sokong korang build the aquarium :P

Oh! go la n watch this movie. very relaxing n fun n tah hape2 movie. my mos fav genre so far :P

Avril released the new single. Hmm, I love her but not the new song tho :|

I have been blog hopping and the most thing people blog about these few days is the new year's resolution. Yeay it's 2011!!! Oh how time flies.

I have few plans for this year. With Allah's will, I hope my plans work out as planned :) As of now, I will keep it to myself first.

I hope that I can be more healthy this year. Not just physically healthy, but spiritual, emotional, mental and financially healthy. And having said that, I will do everything possible to make this happen :)

Guess what!! I ate togeh today!!!! Yerp. And it was a spoonful of togeh ok!!! To close friends and family, I am sure they know I am a togeh hater. I will patiently put all the togeh on my plate ( this is usually the case when I forgot to tell the macik to not put any togeh with the mee) out from the plate. But what do you know. I ATE TOGEH! Hoho. So let's eat more veges people!!

Survivor Fever

I was watching tv and saw and advert on Top Shot. Then I saw a glimpse of the host. I googled and Walaweh!!

So after that, I feel the sudden urge to continue marathoning my Survivor20 (been trying to watch it in 1 shot but I couldn't stand the pressure after watching each episodes). Now it's azan and I paused and suddenly thought of Ethan Zohn!!! My most fav survivor EVER. So I googled and oh he just survived cancer and is now in remission. Oh oh my. :(

i snap at someone today. probably because of my discomfortness. n maybe i was overwhelmed by the brothers n sisters series i watched on tv just now. the girl was whining and the mom told her to just suck it up. Yeah, that is what i shud do now. SUCK IT UP IRIZIS!

saw a friend's status in FB. I know tomorrow is Awal Muharram. But I forgot the prayer recital before and after part. Thanks for the technology, insyaAllah i will recite em prayers today :)

So it is another year ends. Nothing much was accomplished? Praying hard the next year will be blessful Amin..

just finished watching glee. Love the britney episode. n love love Brittany S. Pierce's hawtness. woohoo!!

I was not a big fan of britney spears, but true enough I kinda grew up with her, so I know most of her songs.

we started our own biggest loser program. Me being very not consistent. First I just want to be the judge. Then decided to join in the fun. Then suddenly I think I need to gain instead of lose. Blurgh! Whatever it is, like Coach Hani said, the end result matters the most :) So let's exercise and eat healthily people!

Gonna take my bath and do healthy groceries afterwards. Ta!

Chillax

I am a BIGG fan of sitcoms. From the most sitcoms I love, I can observe one thing. They always have a place to hang out; a bar, coffee bistro, restaurant. And I think it would be cool if me and my friends have a place to chillax too. We could have our own fav restaurant, our own reserved table, all the staff know us and we can laugh our hearts out like no other business :P

Then I remembered this one incident when me n sis live together. We were working, at the normal working hours. Obviously we do not have time to cook for ourselves. Plus, the house condition was so inconvenient to b cooking any meals. So we always had most of our meals at this nearby gerai. The food was not bad, suits our taste bud. The ambiance was ok, so yeah, we OFTEN be seen there. Then this one 'fine' day, when we want to pay for our food, the cashier cum waitress asked us one irritating question, "awak ni x masak ke kat rumah?"

adoi!!! kitorg pegi kedai tu bknnye selalu berhutang kak! byr je selalu. kasi untung gak kt akak. akak nk kecoh saye masak ke..x masak ke apehal????

IF we were to have our own fav place to hang out, I will make sure we choose the place properly. No hassle staff whatsoeva :|

Monday was weird.

I was shopping for my groceries (woohoo!!). Total price was RM55.55. I almost joke with the cashier, that she should bet on that number, but of course I didn't. Hoh.

Then as I walked off the market, a man stopped me asking me to claim for my free mug. It's free, so y not?

Then he said I should fill up a form. Just the simple full name and IC and phone no. Then he handed me a sealed card. He asked me to tear it. I asked y. He said this is a lucky draw. Either I get some container or a voucher worth RM100 or I get nothing. I don't usually stop and listen to people to promote their products (yes I am that bad :| ) but their strategy of handing free stuff first works tremendously. Cudos to them. So back to the lucky draw thingy, I tore and saw 2 pictures with RM100 word on it. I showed the card to the sales man, he looked at it, then he asked me:

Sales Man: Kak! Ni kad yang saye kasi akak tadi ke?

Me: Ha yelah. Kenape??

Sales Man: Eh! kejap eh kak. Saye cek dgn staf lain.

(went to consult other staff)

Sales Man: Akak! akak tau x ape yg akak menang ni?

Me: Ha ape?

Sales Man: Ni sume kad2 yang orang lain dah bukak(while showing other cards). Tade 1 pon mcm akak. Akak ni bace ape mase koyakkan kad ni? Akak bace bismillah ke?

Me: (Smirk..and still not realizing I won big!)

The sales man was still in shock and consult another staff. The other staff told him to call the HQ to confirm. Then the phone was handed to me.

HQ: Selamat petang ye puan. Boleh puan bacekan ape yang puan menang?

Me: (Read as on the card)

HQ: Di blkg kad tu ade bar code, boleh puan bacekan utk saye?

Me: (Read the bar code to the HQ ppl)

Then only I realize I did win big. I asked the sales man what actually happened. I won about Rm6k worth of products! And with the RM100 voucher, I swipe my CIMB credit card and I got another free gift! All in all, I won almost RM7k of stuff!!! After checking with the HQ, I was the 7th out of 10 lucky people in Malaysia who won the lucky draw. Huhu...

The conditions for winning that lucky draw were:

1) I can't sell all the stuff I won

2) I have to promote the products every time people come to my house hahaha. So the co is Electrofast :D There u go. Promoting's done :D

3) I haf to take pictures to be put in the BH as the lucky winner. I was not at my best to be frank. My initial intention was to only buy groceries! Y do I need to dress up right? Fortunately, because of the over enthusiasm situation, they forgot to take mine so fuhh selamat :D

So the manager came to the store to congratulate me. Then after demo-ing all the stuff I won, the sales man helped me to load all the stuff inside my car.

I was hungry. haven't had lunch and it was already 9pm. So when the sales man asked me to go for a drink with him, I agreed ! :| Only because it was at the mall itself. And I was in a happy mood.

Haha.

Too many weird things happen. We never know where the rezeki could come from. Syukur alhamdulillah :)

Oh u know what, of the chaos and over excited scene, they forgot to give the free mug to me ahahaha

MELAKA MAJU 2010

10.10.10, has became a tarikh keramat to many2 people around the world.

But I would appreciate this coming date more- 20th Oct 2010.

Yerp, it is the date where my very own hometown MELAKA, will be celebrating the MELAKA MAJU 2010. hence the date 20.10 2010 is being chosen.

I was born in Hospital Besar, Melaka. I have been living in Melaka since the day I was born. But I have never been a good Melakan.

Why so:

1) Mom n Dad are both N9ers. I was raised as a N9er.

2) My fav dish would be all those masak lemak tempoyaks and cili apis. Only recently I favour asam pedas.

Can't resist this pucuk masak lemak tempoyak with udang rite!

3) I hate cencaluk.

4) I don't know the way around Melaka (ok this reason is applicable to any cities in the world hoho)

5) I don't speak the Melakan's dialect well. It would sound stupid if I do :|

Nevertheless.... I still love Melaka *Hugs*

Why so:

1) I hardly had heavy traffic here in Melaka. I don't mind going back and forth to the same place many2 times!

2) I can go to any districts of Melaka and no toll fares charge on me what so ever!!

3) It has been my longest dream to have a peaceful surroundings and kampung /old skool style of living. I may consider settling down in Melaka huhu.

Can you get this beautiful tangga elsewhere?

4) Being single and living with the parents and be spoiled, save my daily expenses :D

5) The state is so small, you won't end up lost at the end of the day hoho.

I am patriotic. During the early years studying history, I enjoyed it so much as it was of Melaka. I love my Melaka as much as I love my Malaysia :D

Dear Dear Alarm

This morning was funny.

I often snooze my alarm. Most of the times, I will miss my Subuh prayer. Thanks to this video, I tried as much to win over the Satan.

So this morning, I woke up to my alarm. Snooze it. And immediately wake up after the 2nd snooze and performed my prayer.

After the prayer, I looked at the watch, and it is only 545am!!! And Subuh only starts at 545am. Adeih!!

Then I realized, the alarm I woke up to was my sahur alarm. And I thought I've missed my sahur.

Frustrated, I went back to bed, hoping to wake up to my real Subuh alarm. But tak bangun jugak!!! Sengal ey?

Nways, alhamdulillah, in 17mins, I manage to puasa 6 yey!

Gonna prep for my break fast.

Series of Cerita

watched Tun Mahathir's musical. I have to be frank. I don't like it. There were only 3 scenes I enjoyed :-

1) The Poster Hanging ( I love the bushy haired guy like always =p~ )

2) The Romantic Scene of Mahathir and Siti Hasmah

3) The playback video when Tun decided to announce his resignation at the UMNO meeting

Blame me trying to compare this play with PGL, with Pramlee musical, with CUCI musical, but I am only a person, who enjoys this kind of play and somehow Tun's musical don't intrigue me..at all. I adore TUn, but not this play. Kind of disappointed actually.

Last nite I watched Eat Pray Love. I have been waiting for this movie since forever. I don't read the book, but I super love Julia Roberts, hence the excitement of watching this movie overflow with nothingness hoho. Buttttt....the movie was just okay. I guess if it wasn't Jules Roberts, the movie would be plain :|

Tomorrow will be my 6th insyaAllah :)

Daddy's car broke down yesterday.Being a good daughter, I...............didn't know it until he asked me to drop him off to pick his all-well-spark plug-free-problem-car hehe. It was a good ride until he drop me some 'advice'. Adeih! Jangan la begitu bapak.

We went to visit 3 houses yesterday.

2 of them were open houses.

There were all mom's siblings.

Yerp. she has 12 siblings altogether.

And we still have not visited all of them for raya. Yet.

And upon reaching home yesterday,

i felt sick.

Stomach feeling all gassy.

Severe headache.

I slept from 10pm to 130am.

Isyak.

Had some shake.

Sleep until 630am.

Subuh.

Continue sleeping until Izwan woke me for lunch at 2pm :|

But the pain was still there.

I planned to go to Sue's wedding tomorrow.

But has to b cancelled :(

Selamat Hari Jadi Malaysia

Hari ini,

julung kali buat Malaysia,

menggazetkan cuti buat seluruh rakyatnya.

Hari ini,

Tarikh keramat ini,

mencatatkan sejarah,

Sabah dan Sarawak bergabung bersama,

dan lahirlah Malaysia, negara yang ku cinta.

Tiada cerita yang disiarkan di tv yang menarik perhatian ku. Lalu ku buka komputer riba ku, melihat-lihat apa cerita menarik yang belum ku tonton lagi.

Banyak.

TIba-tiba aku teringat akan satu filem yang baru ku ambil; My Name Is Khan.

Aku masih ingat suatu ketika dahulu, betapa kami sekeluarga seronok menonton filem hindi, terutama sekali hasil karya Karan Johar. Asal hero dan heroin nya seseorang yang terkenal, kami beramai-ramai berkumpul di depan tv untuk menontonnya. Tapi zaman itu telah berlalu. zaman kegilaan filem hindi tidak lagi menular di kalangan orang melayu sekarang. Mungkin hanya segelintir sahaja yang masih mengikuti perkembangan dunia Bollywood.

Perasaan 1Malaysia ku membuat ku tertarik untuk menonton filem My Name Is Khan ini.

Filem ini bukan klise. Tidak seperti filem hindi tipikal. Tidak ade babak tari menari dan menyanyi. Tidak banyak kostum yang digunakan yang perlu berganti-ganti setiap kali menyanyi. Tiada pula babak pergaduhan dengan efek suara yang melampau.

Jalan ceritanya sungguh menarik. Penyampaian mesejnya cukup sempurna. Sungguh telus, jujur dan adil. Ia mengisahkan tentang perjalanan seorang lelaki Islam yang mengalami Asperger's Syndrome atau autism. Betapa dia menghadapi masalah berhadapan dengan masyarakat Amerika selepas peristiwa 9/11.Walaupun berpenyakit, lain daripada orang lain, tidak melemahkan semangatnya untuk berpegang atas apa yang dipercayainya. Filem tentang Islam, percintaan dan seorang pesakit autism ini sangat menyentuh hatiku. Pendekatan yang ingin dibawa dari filem ini amat menarik, iaitu agama bukanlah kriteria atau penyebab utama, tetapi cara hidup manusia sesuatu komuniti itu sendiri. Aku memang menyarankan SEMUA orang untuk menonton filem ini.

Bagiku, hasil pembikinan filem ini mampu menukar segala jenis persepsi.

Alangkah baiknya kalau ada karyawan Malaysia yang boleh menghasilkan filem sebagus My Name Is Khan ini dan ditontonkan khas sempena Hari Malaysia. Supaya generasi muda lebih celik dan matang tentang konsep 1 Malaysia ini. Jelas sekali, belum ramai yang arif...termasuklah aku.

Raya '10 @ Pilah

I have drafted an entry in Malay, but don't feel like posting it.

I promised myself to write in Malay as much as I can. I've noticed, my vocab is getting weaker from time to time. The only source for me to improve my Malay is from newspapers / magazines. I speak 80(or 90)% of Malay everyday but it's all simple Malay. I started to realize I need to improve my Malay since I helped my lil sister on her karangan. Man, it was hard to draft one. InsyaAllah, more of my later entries will be written in Malay. Feel free to comment on the grammar, struktur ayat etc.

How's Raya? Mine's good so far. The day before raya, I told myself to try to eat just enough during raya. After 4 days of raya, I have not feeling hungry AT ALL. All I did was eat and eat and eat and sleep. Terrible ey? Breakfast, lunch and dinner is a must. There's always snacks between meals. I eat eventho Im not hungry. We have more than 10 balangs of kuih raya to finish. How can I not at least try all of them, right?

Daddy's coming home tomorrow. We're going to have some kenduri/makan2 for him. Then I will try to puasa 6. It's the only way to stop myself from eating :| I have to stop eating daging. These 4 days have been all rendang daging for me. And lemang has been my must have daily delicacy(??) .

Now perot pon dah bloat. Thighs pon getting bigger macam kaki lembu New Zealand.

an ex collegue even address me as his biggest fans. and only because i went to his concert haha.

Anyway, raya is coming. Yesterday was raya prep day. Fun :)

Haven't done any raya shopping yet. I mean apart from the baju raya that is :P

I will be simple this raya.

Not yet to be spending as I want. Not just yet...

Daddy, like previous years, went to Mecca alhamdulillah.

We will be going back to Pilah this coming wednesday insyaAllah.

So far, not feeling the raya mode yet eventho radios haf been playing multiple raya songs.

oh! and what's with the TV3's raya commercial? WEIRD!

The other day, went terawih at a masjid. The imam was good. I enjoyed how he recite the Quran. Beautiful.

At a sentence (or 2), he cried. I was touched. At that time, I regret of not learning Arabic.

Well, I did learn Arabic during primary schools. But all I can remember is DIKUN=chicken.

Seriusly, I dunno why that is the most unforgettable word of all :|

Ok, I still remember how to count in arabic (up to 10 :| ) and some really basic stuff, but that's it.

Allah's will, I would want to take Arabic Communication Class :)

Watched Jejak Rasul, the episode on Islam, Christian and Jews.

Interesting fact indeed.

For these past years, I have been reciting the Quran.
